Beam Camp City
Beam Camp City is recreating the magic of Beam Camp in NYC
Beam Camp’s commitment to building projects, character, and community through collaboration, creativity and hands-on learning will guide our week-long day camp sessions in Brooklyn.
From August 17th - September 4th, campers aged 8-15 are invited to sign up for one, two, or three weeks of project-based learning.
Led by our camp directors and leadership team with the support of this summer’s CITs, campers will explore woodworking and fabrication as they build our Big Project at our shop in Red Hook. After lunch, we will journey to Governor’s island to engage in group discovery workshops called domains, play games, and enjoy the beautiful nature present on the island. Campers will also be encouraged to lead activities for one another and make something in our shop and craft spaces!
