Join the Beam Center community and Thomas Edison CTE High School as we celebrate “Edison Escape, ” a community event happening on Saturday, May 7. “Edison Escape '' is the result of a multi-year collaboration between Thomas Edison CTE High School and Beam Center. 

Beam Center staff began working with students at Thomas Edison in 2021, after Thomas Edison students proposed the idea in their Social Studies class to make history an interactive experience. The collaboration began in a hybrid learning environment and really took off when classes returned in Fall 2021. Spearheaded by the senior Model UN class, the team worked with teachers in ELA to create an interactive learning experience reflecting the 11th grade ELA curriculum for the novel Dracula.
