You’re invited to join us for a free workshop and info session at Black Box (95 Empire Street Providence, RI 02903) to get a sneak peek into Beam Camp, our overnight program in New Hampshire. Come participate in stained glass and stop motion animation workshops led by Beam Camp staff and former campers.
Beam Camp offers youth ages 9-17— of all genders and identities–– the opportunity to cultivate hands-on skills while exploring innovative thinking, design, problem solving, and the creative process in a supportive and ambitious learning environment. Each session, campers and staff build projects at a variety of scales, ranging from smaller individual creations to a spectacular large-scale project imagined by designers from around the world.
Beam Camp offers two summer sessions: one two weeks long and one four weeks long. During both of these sessions, campers bring their ideas to life through our different programming like; domains, independent projects, and our big project. In all of these programs campers sharpen their skills in fine and manual arts, technology, and collaboration with each other and Beam staff.
